When you are buying or selling property in today's real estate market, it's important to have confidence in your real estate professional. Our commitment is to provide you with the specialized real estate services you deserve, whether you are buying or selling your first home or your fifteenth.
Hello, I´m Mike Eggleston. You might like to know a little about me before you choose me to be your realtor. Getting to know my clients is one of the things about my business that I most enjoy. Through the years, I´ve become good friends with many of my clients, and after 32 years, that's a lot of friendships. I also enjoy taking real estate classes whenever I can, because there's always something new I learn about how to give my clients even better service.
My wife, Vicki, and I love living in Blacksburg. I grew up in Martinsville and came to Blacksburg as a student at Virginia Tech. Vicki is from Wytheville, Virginia. Our daughter, who now lives in Raleigh, enjoyed growing up in our small community that provides many opportunities for activities and friendships.
I´ve continued my relationship with Virginia Tech through the years. I serve on the Board of Directors of the German Club, and hold season tickets for football and both men´s and women´s basketball. I am active with the Hokies Hardwood Club and serve as a "Hokie Representative" volunteer for the Virginia Tech Hokie Club.
Because I know the value of sports to young people, I am an avid supporter of the Blacksburg Sports Club, where you can find me at lunchtime most Wednesdays. I also enjoy playing tennis a couple of times a week with some good friends.
I enjoy being an "usher captain" at Blacksburg United Methodist Church. It is good to be part of a warm and vibrant church family. I have enjoyed going on two mission trips to Gulfport and VanCleave, Mississippi to help with the Katrina rebuilding efforts, and these trips are two of the most rewarding things I´ve ever done.
Wednesday mornings I´m usually at the Blacksburg Breakfast Lions Club. I enjoy the friendships the club fosters and our service to the community.
I have been privileged to serve on various Town of Blacksburg advisory committees and the Board of Directors for the Blacksburg Partnership, a non-profit economic development organization.
As you can see, commmunity is very important to me. I'd like to help you become an active member of one of our wonderful New River Valley communities.
